10 oz egg noodles *
1 onion; diced
2 t italian seasoning
2 T flour
1 C heavy whipping cream
2 T butter
3 cloves garlic; minced
1 1/2 C frozen peas & carrots; thawed
1 C chicken broth
1 1/2 C cooked chicken; cubed or shredded
salt & pepper
Cook noodles al dente, according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
In large skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Stir in onion, garlic Italian seasoning, and peas & carrots.
Cook for about 3 minutes until onions are soft and translucent.
Stir in flour until combined.
Pour in chicken broth and heavy whipping cream. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat. Simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
Add pasta and chicken to skillet. Add salt and pepper to taste.
